Its a Scintilla thing, arrows or nothing,
http://www.scintilla.org/ScintillaDoc.html#SCI_SETWRAPVISUALFLAGS and
they are set by the line_wrap_visuals setting in filetypes.common (or
presumably any colour scheme that overrides it).

So the OP could turn wrapped arrow off completely, but not just when printing.
