[Geany-Users] no Terminal tab in Geany preferences??

Which version of Ubuntu?

Under Preferences->General->Startup is "Load virtual terminal support" 
checked? Also, are you sure you aren't running Geany with "-t" or 
"--no-terminal" argument?

Otherwise it's probably like Colomban mentioned that you don't have the 
required libvte package, although I would've assumed installing Geany 
from the repositories would've dragged that it automatically.
