[Geany] mac osx -- control-v paste not working

I just downloaded the latest code tarball from here:
http://git.geany.org/geany/snapshot/geany-1.22.0.tar.gz

Looking at the README file, it's saying I should run ./configure, then
make, then make install. However, I'm not seeing a 'configure' file in
the code I downloaded.

Did I miss something? Thanks.
