While waiting you could check www.getdeb.net maybe there'll arrive an
updated version earlier.

I guess Geany 0.15 will first available with the next+1 release of
Ubuntu, I guess Ubuntu 9/04.

But as an user you could beg the Ubuntu Geany package maintainer to
create a backport. But this is out of our scope of actions, so you (or
any other Ubuntu user) should do it.
