From where did you git pull? From github.com or git.geany.org?

The repo at github.com wasn't affected at all, at least not by the
yesterday's server maintenance, this was only for geany.org. And even
if, there should not have been any data change during the server
maintenance.
I quickly compared HEAD of the repo at github.com and git.geany.org and
they both have 44fcdf1b7ccb76de124253b8f77d3a5f0f4206e4.

This is perfectly fine, it's the version of GIT master aka the
development version.

Also perfectly fine: 1.23.1 is the last official release which is
usually behind the version in GIT master.
And the version in the po/pot files are more or less manually
maintained, so I guess just nobody updated those files for the version
numbers.
