<p>I'm looking at the Geany project feature.  It looks good with the project organizer plugin ( <a class="user-mention" data-hovercard-type="user" data-hovercard-url="/users/techee/hovercard" data-octo-click="hovercard-link-click" data-octo-dimensions="link_type:self" href="https://github.com/techee">@techee</a> ).  (So many features I haven't been using...)  Seems like an option could be added to the project organizer to indicate the primary programming language.  Then that could assign filetype for ambiguous <code>.h</code> files.  Options could be... Let Geany autodetect, Try to find corresponding C/C++ file, Always treat as C, Always treat as C++...</p>
