<p>I frequently do a search for some text and then use a hotkey to step through all the search results, making a change to each instance.  I'd like to be able to see how close I am to finishing by looking at the messages pane, but I don't see any easy way to do that.  There's a scrollbar, but it only seems to appear when the mouse is hovered over the  pane.</p>
