<p>What happens in Nedit if the cursor moves off the line to one that is so much shorter that the cursor is off screen? How does the user know that? And how do they know where its is?</p>
<p>The basic premise that Scintilla (the editing widget Geany uses) has, is that the cursor should always be visible after user action.</p>
