<p>I re-tested this and select seems to work fine now <g-emoji class="g-emoji" alias="+1" fallback-src="https://github.githubassets.com/images/icons/emoji/unicode/1f44d.png">👍</g-emoji></p>
<p>There is one little open issue: if the cursor is in  a closing tag and the matching opening tag starts at the beginning of the document, then goto does not work.</p>
