<p>I'm not sure.  And if it's due to the linemarker thing and this PR got rebased on master, it makes sense it breaks, and it's a good thing we know it.</p>
<p>This said, for me clang 3.8 builds master.</p>

<p>It's coming from <code>AX_CXX_COMPILE_STDCXX_11</code> which figured it's a way to get that compiler to support C++11 -- or at least a part of it that is checked for.</p>
