<p>I think this might be do-able for a plugin. It would probably require <a href="https://www.geany.org/manual/reference/ui__utils_8h.html#a49c80700d479b852da7ed598ee35776d" rel="nofollow">hooking into the widget hierarchy</a> and thus be somewhat hacky, but I've done <a href="https://plugins.geany.org/devhelp.html" rel="nofollow">similar</a> <a href="https://plugins.geany.org/overview.html" rel="nofollow">kludges</a> in plugins with moderate success <g-emoji class="g-emoji" alias="smiley" fallback-src="https://github.githubassets.com/images/icons/emoji/unicode/1f603.png">😃</g-emoji></p>
