<p>The last screenshot shows you have mixed line endings, the screen shows CRLFs but Geany is in LF mode?</p>
<p>But having CR before the LFs should not stop the line ends being recognised.</p>
<p>What if you do <code>Document->Set Line Endings->Convert and set to <whatever is NOT selected></code> to make the document consistent.</p>
<p>Also how big in bytes is your file?</p>
