<p>The extra pixel indeed could be a solution for the case where linewrap should not even happen (as in the original 2 pictures of the issue).</p>
<p>The preferred behaviour I was looking happens under the condition where the old line is already to long for the current editor window (1st picture of my previous comment, line 80 needs 2 rows).<br>
As can be seen from the 2nd picture of the previous commit the overlay does not show the full line, worse even, the overlay overshoots the editor window.</p>
<p>My expectation is that the overlaybar will wrap when needed (for instance to stay inside the editor window), a bit like the next (edited) image:</p>
