<p>Well my efforts to create a Debian package for 1.29 of geany and geany-plugins has failed, with the geany-plugins package. I moved to Launchpad, instead of using the Open Build Service. It failed with the error shown in <a href="https://launchpadlibrarian.net/293528368/buildlog_ubuntu-trusty-amd64.geany-plugins_1.29-2%7Etrusty_BUILDING.txt.gz">this build log</a>. I've spent around 5 hours trying to build a suitable Geany and Geany Plugins 1.29 package to build an AppImage from and it truly is a pain. Then again, the only Linux package format I'm really adept at building are Arch Linux (i.e., pacman) packages. Why can't all package source files be as easy to write as PKGBUILDs... </p>
