<p><a href="https://github.com/brianread108" class="user-mention">@brianread108</a> did you try changing themes to see if that helps (according to Google; <code>Cinnamon Settings->Appearance</code> is where you change it)? Also does it only affect you when using a rectangular/block selection as <a href="https://github.com/b4n" class="user-mention">@b4n</a> mentioned?</p>
