<p>IMO, rather than document any details about gtkrc/css we should rather tell the style classes and provide links to the <a href="https://developer.gnome.org/gtk2/stable/gtk2-Resource-Files.html">gtkrc</a> and <a href="https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/chap-css-overview.html#css-overview">gtkcss</a> docs. No point to re-document what's there, but it'd be useful to give users the starting points for learning about GTK+ theming.</p>
