<p>One neat thing might be to write a script which gets the list of issues off Github, reads MAINTAINERS, and for each maintainer emails them a list of links to the issues labelled with the plugin they maintain, maybe like once a week or month. It's only a technical solution to <a href="https://github.com/b4n" class="user-mention">@b4n</a>'s first and second item above, but at least it might annoy people enough to either deal with the issues, or say "hey stop emailing me, I don't maintain this anymore". Just a thought.</p>
