<p>I made a <a href="https://github.com/codebrainz/gitest">simple test repo</a>, GI seems to have no problem dealing with <code>G_TYPE_POINTER</code> signal parameters, and there seems to be no need to expose the actual object structures or special doc-comments or anything. I know it's super trivial, but what are the problems with Geany that requires faking boxed types and exposing the <code>GeanyObject</code> that GI can't cope with?</p>
