Complain :smile:  There have been a number of changes since anyone but you tried it.  You shouldn't do a Neil and only give one days notice for people to look at them and test.  

Whilst in theory its safe since autotools should still work, this touches a number of the autotools files as well.  Since it passes CI its ok on Ubuntu, leaving a couple of weekends for other distro users to test it and for it to be tested with plugins is sensible.
