[Github-comments] [geany/geany] fix compilation with clang on Windows (PR #3067)

I didn't dive into the details of these changes yet, just wondering if it is worth the efforts: do we want to support clang at all?

The changes modify Scintilla which should be done upstream ideally or at least https://github.com/geany/geany/blob/master/scintilla/scintilla_changes.patch needs to be updated as well.
I'm wondering whether this introduces new side effects like for macOS or general gcc builds?
