[Github-comments] [geany/geany] Feature request: Strip trailing spaces on save (Issue #3120)

I don't think this has been asked before, but can there be a setting to strip trailing spaces on save?  That would be super helpful for me.

I've hunted around, and I can't find this option currently in Geany nor in any documentation/plugin.  It could be a part of Core Geany, or maybe the Save Actions plugin.
