Regular expressions are supported also for the functionality “search and replace”.
:thought_balloon: I propose to make their settings more configurable (also according to [the availability of software alternatives](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_regular-expression_engines "Comparison of regular-expression engines")).
