[Github-comments] [geany/geany] Plugin preferences greyed out on new install of geany on Linux mint (#2762)

geany installed using mint software manager.
Geany plugins installed following instructions on geany plugins install page for ubuntu.
namely sudo apt-get install geany-plugins.
