- menu:`Preferences > Keybindings > LaTeX > Insert Itemize List => Ctrl+Alt+M`
- menu:`File > New`
- menu:`Document > Set Filetype > Markup Languages > LaTeX source file`
- in the new document: `Ctrl+Alt+M`

Result:

	\item 
\end{itemize}
```
