There still Geany 1.36 in the repository, so I installed it.
Geany 1.36 + Fedora 33 (Wayland, Gnome3) = freezes.
Geany 1.36 (with ```GDK_BACKEND=x11```) + Fedora 33 (Wayland, Gnome3) = freezes.
