[Github-comments] [geany/geany] Make the shell used by Geany to run various commands configurable (#2363)

See https://github.com/geany/geany/issues/2390 and the solution. We apparently don't need to know/configure the right shell but just have the user to configure their system correctly. Does the solution (set env variables in ~/.xprofile) over there apply on macOS in any way?
