[Github-comments] [geany/geany] Markdown formatting broken by double asterisks/spaces (#2029)

I've installed SciTE from [the package](https://www.scintilla.org/SciTEDownload.html) but it doesn't have Markdown among the supported languages. Looks like I need [a Markdown .properties file](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6598523/markdown-syntax-highlighting-in-scite-notepad)? Which one does Geany use?
