I mostly just wanted a free monitor, I don't use Windows often and I despise using touchscreens, which is the real reason I won't work on this :)

If anyone wants to work on it though, it seems reasonable to fix and the code linked above should be trivial to downgrade to plain C. The simulator linked seems pretty cool too.
