That function [was added in 1.32](https://github.com/geany/geany/commit/4a60cdd12727f8f252a3e0d6921e26377ef84904#diff-944c06f8264af4d8f28d9d9123d3667c).

I'm afraid you'll have to re-compile Geany 1.32 or greater or else compile an earlier version of the ProjectOrganizer plugin.
