[Github-comments] [geany/geany] Criterion unit tests (#1427)

It needs a way to startup Geany in a special testing mode, since most of Geany is not "testable" and requires lots of global setting up of state.

I made a patch a while ago to do similar but using GLib's builtin test framework instead:
