[Github-comments] [geany/geany] Slow code navigation on Debian Stretch with GNOME (#1532)

@elextr For both systems (both setups are Debian Stretch). Both systems are using X11 on the same machine.

Tried with default settings and the issue is here.

Here is more info of the machine:
Linux debian-local 4.9.0-3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.30-2+deb9u2 (2017-06-26) x86_64 GNU/Linux
GNOME 3.22.2
CPU Intel i7-3520M
16 GB RAM, SSD disk
