Aha, the dll is taken from MSYS2. Got the new version from here http://repo.msys2.org/mingw/i686/mingw-w64-i686-gtk2-2.24.31-1-any.pkg.tar.xz. It didn't fix the issue. So the patch wasn't shipped with this release, I suppose. I'll wait for the next one then.
