[Github-comments] [geany/geany] Autocompletion is misleading in some circumstances for Python (#1306)

Well VSCode and Sublime and Atom use language servers to provide dynamic information.

Geany does not currently support language servers, it uses static analysis which is limited on dynamic languages like Python and JS.  It is therefore not a bug in the current implementation, it is indicative that an enhancement may be achieved with a different implementation.

Just need somebody to do it, PRs are welcome.
