[Github-comments] [geany] Allow calls to plugin_module_make_resident() from geany_load_module() (#760)

I'm fine either way. I don't really care anymore, since I don't consider plugin_module_make_resident() a useful api at all anymore (I changed my mind). Not useful because glib already provides a standard method to access the GModule.

I'd deprecate it generally instead of adding workarounds to a useless api, but other than that your proposed change is OK (I accept it helps your vision of no globals and doing anything other that registration in init() 😊)
