Shouldn't this rather be made private (inside `GEANY_PRIVATE` or private header) or at least not be made public as there's no API that exposes it? I think this was being discussed on the previous PR but there wasn't any real reason given why it needs to be public if it's only referenced from a "private" member at the end of a struct which is only accessible itself as a pointer.
