[Github-comments] [geany] Geany hangs on saving a certain file (reproducible) (#815)

The "filename:permission denied" is the message returned from the operating system to Geany so its probably right.

What are the actual permissions of the file and the directory it is in?

Is Geany running with the same permissions as the other editors?

What are the values of the settings discussed in this [wiki entry](http://wiki.geany.org/config/all_you_never_wanted_to_know_about_file_saving) and does the behaviour change when you change the settings.  In particular does it work when all three options are off.
