[Github-comments] [geany] Run geany without installing it (#788)

[elextr]

Geany installs things in the following relative to prefix:

bin
share/application
share/doc
share/geany
share/icons
share/locale
share/man
lib
lib/geany
lib/pkgconfig

Its not just the data in share/geany.

> On another note build/bin/geany --print-prefix still prints /usr/local folders,
but it works so I guess that's just a display error.

Works here if configured with a `--prefix=`
