there is no data collection at all.

The UpdateChecker plugin (https://plugins.geany.org/updatechecker.html)
performs HTTP requests to https://geany.org to check for new versions
and submit the users' Geany version to the server. But that data is not
analyzed in any way.

Apart from that, I do not know any sort of data transmission in Geany.
