Hi,

I just noticed that Geany v1.24 catches compiler error in Windows 8.1 64bit and returns just status result when running on a tablet Windows 8.1 32bit.

I did check the same compiler in Linux - it works - Geany catches an error line.

There are various problems with running commands on windows, and
capturing the results, and what the effect is, depends on which
version of geany you use.

There is a major upgrade in progress which is intended to fix the
problems but it hasn't landed yet.

Cheers
