Hello Pedro,

I've been maintaining the Geany and Geany plugins portuguese translations for quite some time now.

The plugins have been a little far behind because I don't have so much "free" time anymore. So thanks a lot for the updates.

Like Frank pointed out, you just need to attach the po file to an email sent to this mailing list and it will be used. Please, don't forget to run the tests described in Geany's page before sending the translations.

A note regarding the notifications you ask for, just subscribe to this mailing list and you will have a early warning when a string freeze occurs in preparation for a new release.

Please provide the po file -- inside it seems to be only the mo file.
You can send it directly to me. I prefer to don't use tools like dropbox.

You will have to clone Geany sources and update the po file and
recompile it.

I can merge it with current version of pt.po. But I'm afraid I don't see
any big chance of doing some kind of a update notification at the
moment. But you can always check the current status of translation at
http://i18n.geany.org and/or http://i18n.geany.org/plugins
