Editor repeat lines.
Last thing what I did was I was searching word (not sure is that causing the problem) Please see screen capture, middle is the editor and right is same file opened with vim.

The information you havn't provided is the version of Geany and GTK and Glib (see Menu->help->debug messages)

I remember a previous issue that showed repeated lines like that, but I can't find it just now, maybe you or somebody else with better search capability can.

Confirm with:

a few line contents repeat, is fixed as soon as Scintilla is forced to re-compute the display, eg by a modification.
Will wait to see if #2600 fixes it.
