I'm now playing with an ARM64 build of Geany that runs natively on Apple's new M1 processors. I have a testing build in the snapshots directory and it seems to work quite well so I think it could be added to the downloads page.
I'm not sure if what I did in this pull request is enough (not tested at all) and if I haven't forgotten anything. There are a few macOS-related bugs I'd like to get fixed (or rather get user's feedback) before I put the final builds to the Downloads page so even if this pull request is considered fine, it shouldn't be merged yet. Looks and works great: ![Screenshot_2021-11-18_22-59-42](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/617017/142503741-17af7817-3fd3-409...) (Don't wonder about the weird version numbers, this is my local development database and is not up2date :D)
Feel free to merge whenever you are ready to. It requires a deployment (service restart + sync pages), I can quickly do this.
Thanks for testing! I wasn't sure if the `<br>` in the table would do the right thing.
@eht16 I just moved the binaries to the downloads directory and I think this pull request can be merged. I just realized I probably don't have rights to do merges for the www.geany.org repository (don't really need it) so I'd ask you if you could do it for me.
@eht16 Ping :-)
Merged #39 into master.
Yep, working now, thanks :-).
Great, as you noticed I added the missing permissions. Thanks for the ping, this PR was still on my todo list but behind other things :D. Changes are deployed and work well, good job!
