I now and then press ctrl+n, paste something in the newly appeared "file" and after some time cut (ctrl+a, ctrl+x) the content to use it at another place. When I press ctrl+w to close the empty "file", geany asks me to save it, although it doesn't have a path on the disk. I think when closing an empty file which doesn't exist on disk, geany shouldn't ask about saving.
Not that it's a common use-case, but wouldn't this prevent someone from saving a new empty file (on purpose)?
It doesn't, you can press ctrl+s to save the file, the issue is about the automatically appearing question after pressing ctrl+w.
