Hello. `Geany` is used from the repository on `ubuntu 18.04` (not ppa, in ppa not at all for 18.04). `Geany` was compiled from source and compiled into a package from `1.34`.
How can I save all settings and transfer to the new version `geany`?
Previously, the settings were stored in /usr/share/geany. A simple transfer of the settings did not give anything - I do not see them applied. Reload settings in geany itself did not help.
Geany stores configuration on Linux in `$HOME/.config/geany` although you can specify another directory using the `-c` option. If you upgrade Geany it should "Just Work".
P.S. Generally it's better to use [the mailing list](https://www.geany.org/Support/MailingList#users) to ask questions as the Issue tracker is for tracking bugs/improvements rather than asking questions.
Closed #2062.

Thank you for helping transfer settings for `$ HOME / .config / geany`.
I apologize, did not know!
