Cant you make a appdata.xml file with the strings?

The user wants to use the software so the user searches for it with the built-in software like gnome-software and it would be nice that the user could have it all in the language they use for a more complete translated experience.

I agree, but we can't possibly go around providing translations for every possible source of software which mentions or offers Geany.

I just suggest it and leave it up to other to do it or not.

That's not very effective for a volunteer open source project 😃
