With lastest commits multi-line edit was broken, step to reproduce:
shift+alt+left click WORK
shift+alt+left click NOT WORK
alt+shift+left click DO NOTHING
shift+alt+left click WORK AGAIN
shift+alt+left click NOT WORK
.......
