• gtk_menu_shell_append(menubar, menu_vc);
  

• menubar_children = gtk_container_get_children(GTK_CONTAINER(menubar));
  

• gtk_menu_shell_insert(menubar, menu_vc, g_list_length(menubar_children) - 1);
