That I understood. But the only file I see updating is system.log, and there isn’t much there regarding Geany. Just lots of these:

Do you reproduce this error? Is there any specific version of Geany I should run? Now I am on 1.33, but I also tried 1.36 from one of the issue-posts (but I got the impression that was a bit of a transient version, so went back)
