Does it only occur after a long session not when Geany is started and run for some time? Does it get fixed by starting Geany but the same session?
One thought is that "something" has a competition about the yucky global stuff for various search stuff. Maybe @b4n plugin or other action that does search will generate some issue with corner sharing.
