As usual, closing in to a release calls for updating the translations and thus using the plugin, leading to finding issues and shortcomings. Here are various fixes and improvements for this iteration. Some are actual bug fixes (089786b), some are safety (9059b55 and cdaa961), and some are improvements (2fb4dd0, e1175d4, f76f801, cff154c).
